Everyone has undergone the Converse phase. Some aren't even over it and some aren't even considering it a phase. Unfortunately for me, corporate life discourages wearing shoes that makes us look younger than we seem to be. But I do wear my trusty black pair on weekends.

Someone I know who goes to the gym would always wear his Chucks and I've been contemplating on wearing mine too.
