20-Day Lipstick Challenge Day 10

If you are a lippie fanatic like me and a few of my friends, then you are going to like this challenge. My lipstick choices are in no particular order BUT the every day choice would have to be something that will go well with what I’m wearing. My pictures are all raw as intended so pardon my photography skills.

Day 10 is Every Bilena Off Beat Pink. This lipstick was my catalyst to my love for lipsticks and the first of my matte haul. Chapped-looking matte lipsticks became a fad a decade ago and I just realized that I've been a fan for such a long time. Thank you very much Honeyleen for introducing this one to me

As this is a matte lipstick, I like the fact that it's packaging also has a matte texture with a sample color at the top. This is one of my go-to lipstick whenever I turn a shade darker because it makes me look darker.  I intentionally took a shot with two different lighting for comparison. This one gets too dry at times that for every time I drink something, it gives me an inner-lip lining, do you know what I mean?

I tend to steer towards mauve brown tone and I noticed that EB has a Mauve matte lipstick version of this one, it will be next on my to-buy list

20-Day lipstick challenge Day 9

Mauve Outta Here is my favorite among all my wet n wild. I love the color and it goes well regardless of my skin tone-which really matters to me since I go to the beach whenever I can.

The packaging is ordinary, though I've noticed that the plastic covering easily breaks as with all my other WnW, also, the plastic covering tends to have marks as it gets loose in time.

This is actually their matte series but it's creamy and heavily pigmented. This is the only WnW that I bought 2 pcs of because I simply can't get enough.

Stingraye is heavily pigmented and can look darker than the swatch so I have to swab it a couple of times. What's weird is that it looks lighter when I applied it then it turned a couple of shades darker after a few minutes.

I saw someone apply the same shade on her lips and it came out as of mauve brownish hue but to me it looks brown and dark purple. Granted, the combination makes me look like I ate squid steak, I still wear it at times when I want to look mature.

20 DAY LIPSTICK Challenge- Day 7

I know it's been a few months but I don't want to give up on this one just yet so let's just continue, for the 7th day, I chose B52 or #565. Though I actually prefer the pinkish-mauvey hue, this one is more of a pinkish brown shade. The sole reason why I bought this one is it was a dupe for MAC's twig. Nyx B52 is creamy and has a creamy feel which takes getting used to if you are like me who are used to tints and mattes. The color easily fades though I have yet to try applying powder first..but I like that it looks natural on me in real life.
